Is talent a gift from God?

What is a talent? – Someone who does something without putting lot of effort. Art and Singing are good examples.

Is talent gift from Jesus? – Yes. Jesus gives different talents (gifts) to different people. Not everyone were gifted in the same way. Also we should not compare talents given by Jesus. We should start thinking to use our gift (talent) for Jesus.

Difference between giving gifts to please people and to the needy

We can give gift to someone who already has so many things. Generally we like to please people (just to make them happy) by giving gifts. But we should also think and start giving gifts to people who are in real need. Jesus said to help poor and if we help poor and needy, it is like helping Jesus.

Nothing wrong in giving gifts to our friends but we should also start giving gifts to the needy people.

Understanding the truth about gifts

Gifts & any worldly things are not everlasting. They are just used for a while. As a kid, you may like candies. But how many can you eat at a time? Do you remember the favorite toy you got as gift when you were 2..3..4..and 5.. Nothing in this world is everlasting. Everything is temporary. We don’t need anything more than we need. Food, toys and so many examples.
